Heart of the Valley has been providing No Contact Yard Workers for the past 3 months. It’s going along really well with both clients and volunteers sticking to our strict protocols. If you are in need of yard work, please call our office number and leave a message. We will contact you to schedule a service. I saw this idea somewhere, I hope whoever came up with it gets due credit. Great idea! Our neighbor is older and lives alone so I gave her 3 colour pieces of pa...per for her window which faces our kitchen window. Green is for I'm OK, yellow for need help with an errand, and red for emergency. I call it Isolation Communication :) Let's all look out for each other people. See more

It’s so difficult to say goodbye to a senior who has been such a champion in our lives, but it’s easy to say Thank You Ruth Bader Ginsburg! Well Done! One of our volunteers sent me this cute picture of RBG as a little girl and I thought I would share it with you. :)
