As much as you look forward to the joy of the holiday season, this time of year can become overwhelming. To help survive the holiday blues, try to take a moderate approach to food and drinks.

During the holidays, allow yourself to feel sad but, also allow yourself to enjoy positive experiences. Take one day or hour at a time and be flexible as well as sensitive to your feelings and needs.

We are excited to announce our ManorCare Health Services Palm Harbor (FL) center has just received vaccines for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19)! We are also ...proud to have been able to vaccinate the first skilled nursing center patient in the United States. Caring for a loved one is one of the most significant challenges life can present. We're here for the families and friends of our patients, too. Whether it’s to have a safe space to share feelings or to remember the memory of loved ones. Heartland Hospice serving Raleigh-Durham was faced with challenges this year when it came to planning their annual memorial service. However, instead of the typical in-person service that is held each year, the team was able to plan several events that ensured the participants would stay safe.
