We challenge youth to utilize the power of art to expose the truth about vaping and tobacco use. Up to $50 in gift cards will be awarded to winners. Our Drug Free Communities project installed a new Prescription Take Back Box at City Hall this month. According to the 2018 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 9.9 million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs. The study shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet. We encourage you to dispose of old or unused medications at these boxes located in our city. Thank you to our partners for making this possible and to the Sherif's depratment for safety disposing of medications collected.
