COVID-19 testing for our staff and patients is not a small job. We are thankful to have a stellar team of talented swabbers who make the job quick and painless. Our company-wide testing events start before sunrise and end well after sundown, and this team doesn't stop until everyone is counted for. We respect them, thank them and appreciate them for all that they do!

Many may be wondering why County of Sonoma is still in the most restrictive "purple" tier. The County has provided an update providing some details on our current status. Reopening metrics: Every county in California is assigned to a tier based on local COVID-19 metrics. Based on this week’s numbers, Sonoma County remains in the purple tier: Case rate of new cases/100,000 population per day: 10.2 (must be less than 7 tomove to the next less restrictive tier)... Testing positivity rate: 5.2% (must be less than 8.0% to move to the next less restrictive tier) Equity Metric testing positivity rate: 8.9% (must be less than 8.0% to move to allow movement to the less restrictive tier) In order to move to the "red" tier, Sonoma County must either: 1) meet the state benchmarks for all three metrics above for two weeks, or 2) meet the testing positivity benchmark and have an equity metric rate of less than 5 percent for two weeks, even if the case rate is still above the benchmark.
