Join us on Friday, October 14th with art by Rob Struven of Garage ink studios at Cukui! Rob Struven is an illustrator, painter, tattooist, and car enthusiast from the San Francisco Bay Area. As a youth his love for tattoos and Kustom Lowriders has translated well into his career today. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration under his belt he began his journey into tattooing in 2000 under the guidance and friendship of Aaron Cain, who was very influential during his earl...y years. Rob soon opened up Garage ink studios and Napa Valley Tattoo Co. in Napa Valley in 2002 where he continues to work from, but he makes time to visit and work from shops like State of Grace from time to time. Rob has been featured in many printed publications from around the world. From over 15 international magazines and 5 coffee table books, his tattoos and artwork have adorned and shown at galleries and private collections across the United States.
