We are pleased to announce that The Rinks and Great Park Ice will be opening Friday, June 26 with limited hours and capacity. Covid-19 may have kept us from playing but has not shaken our community spirit. During this time, we had food from our snack bar sitting around unable to be sold to our customers. A few of our employees thought of a great idea to donate our unsold food to Collette’s Childrens Home right here in Huntington Beach. It’s important to help everyone get through this tough time and show kindness and compassion to one another. Dear Rinks Families: Like the entire community, we continue to follow the guidance of health officials and do our part to help slow down the COVID-19 pandemic. We extend our thoughts and best wishes to all of you as we weather this unprecedented situation. Please stay safe and take care of yourselves and those who might be vulnerable around you. As you know, we have cancelled all classes and activities until April 19 to-date. In addition, all our facilities are completely clo...sed, with no entry permitted until each facility is deemed safe. Corresponding signage has been placed throughout each facility. We thank you for your understanding. Sports not only gives us physical and mental skills, it brings us a sense of community and belonging. Having to pause those connections is difficult on everyone. This is clearly a major adjustment in our lives, but something we can overcome. Please continue to follow the advice of our health professionals in order to stay healthy. Stay home, wash your hands and keep practicing safe social distancing. We look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as possible. We will continue to post updates and communicate with you on our current status. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll get through this together. Due to the ongoing concern over COVID-19, The Rinks ice and inline facilities including Anaheim ICE, Lakewood ICE, Westminster ICE, Yorba Linda ICE, Poway ICE, Huntington Beach Inline and Irvine Inline, along with Great Park Ice (operated by the Irvine Ice Foundation) will be suspending programming, including all l...eagues and events, effective Saturday, Mar. 14. These unprecedented steps are being taken for the betterment and well-being of our community that we are proud to be part of. The health of everyone associated with The Rinks has and will continue to be our number one priority. The Rinks will continue to consult with the State of California and local health officials as we closely monitor developments regarding COVID-19. We will reevaluate the situation on Mar. 31. We are hoping to resume programming in April and are looking to reschedule missed sessions and games. In the case we are unable to reschedule, please contact your Rinks/Great Park facility to receive updated information.
