Although this is five years ago, this was the first year that we moved our event The George Na'ope Hula Festival to Sacramento at the Holiday Inn Sacramento Downtown Plaza at I5 & J Street. I still make all of the award each year, ipu heke (over twenty each year), the hula pahu for the over all award, and many hands and minds of my daughters, my wife and other family members that help to make this event a success that it is. If you haven't been to our event yet, COME, if yo...u been supporting us over the years, we appreciate it very much and hope to see you again. Our dates this year is July 14-16, in Sacramento. Make it one day or three days, it's just like being on your own mini vacation in Hawai'i. Live Hawaiian music daily, Hawaiian style food, shop vendors selling premium Hawaiian clothing, handmade crafts and gifts, snack and treats, art, so much to choose from and indoor in the air conditioned building. Some vendors outdoor and our food vendors outdoor too but so worth the time. Advanced tickets are still available at www.GeorgeNaopeHulaFestival.com. Come join us! Aloha, Rick See more
