Hatzolah of LA has dispatched a rescue team to Northern CA to continue the search for 2 children who went missing in a Sonoma County beach. Our teams will be conducting both a ground search, and an air search as weather permits. We are thankful to the civil air patrol units volunteering to assist with Hatzolah's mission. https://ktla.com//search-continues-for-2-missing-kids-off/

Paying our respects to the LAPD Foothill station today, after the loss of their Sergeant, Fred Cueto who dedicated over 22 years of service to Los Angeles. Sgt. Cueto was known as someone with an extremely heavy heart, and served the community with honor. As members of the first responder community, each Hatzolah of Los Angeles member will strive to keep Sergeant Cueto’s memory alive. Sergeant Cueto’s loved ones and the entire Los Angeles Police Department will remain i...n our thoughts and prayers. We are honored to work closely with the entire LAPD, and will always be ready to assist when called upon. @lapdfoothill @lapdhq #LAPD #RIP #EMS #Hatzolah @ LAPD Foothill Community Police Station

:... ... Hatzolah reminds everyone to take precautions to avoid heat-related illness, especially older adults, young children, outdoor workers, and people with a chronic medical condition who are especially sensitive to negative health impacts from extreme heat. Hatzolah offers the following recommendations during high temperature days: - Drink plenty of water and keep hydrated throughout the day. - If you must go out, plan your day to avoid going out during the hottest hours, and wear sunscreen. Wear lightweight, light-colored clothes, and bring a hat or umbrella with you. - Cars get very hot. Never leave children or pets in cars. - Beware of heat-related illness, like heat stroke and call for help if you see these symptoms: high body temperature, vomiting, and pale and clammy skin. - Check on those at risk, like those who are sick, older adults, pregnant women, and children, and those who live alone. - Visit your power company’s website or contact them by phone to determine if you are scheduled for a rolling power outage. #HeatWarning #LosAngeles #HatzolahLA #EMS #CommunitySafety #18006131911 See more
