We are excited to see you Thursday-Sunday. Please remember, masks and social distancing will be required. Please stay 6 feet or more from the party in front of you, and stay on the blue X’s when looking at our display. That way we can all enjoy it and stay safe at the same time.

Last night we did our final test with everything up and running. It was super windy, but everything held up fine (because we build with wind in mind). We also kept popping one of our our power strips. But once we rerouted some cords, it all worked great. We are excited to meet all of you this coming Thursday-Sunday! Happy Halloween

First set of COVID percautions are in place.

I thought the brick areas needed more interest, so I made a couple of signs today.

Because of Covid, we are moving some things around to be easier to see as a drive-by/walk-by. The 2 storefronts we have so far were looking a little lost, so we decided to make it feel a little more cohesive.

It has been a busy week working on the facade each evening after work. We finally finished all the detail work and put it up in its final position. Is looks massive in person!

Wow, what a busy, productive day. I am exhausted, but it was great having the girls helping.

Making some great progress on the entrance to Hogwarts.

We decided we wanted to build a second prop for our display this year. We decided it had to be really big since we will probably be a drive by exhibit this year. The designing is done... now time to buy supplies.

After finishing the window set, I wanted to test it out last night. I just used a cheap plastic drop cloth taped behind the window to get an idea of how it will look. It should look even better with plexiglass and reflective film.

Finished texture with the heat gun first thing this morning. Then it was a whole family effort to paint. It turned out better than we thought. We can’t wait to set it up this year.
