On Fri., Oct. 16, four alumni -- A.J. Reid '04, Chris Davis '03, Candace Silva-Martin '09 and Isabelle Connell '13 -- will be inducted into the Harker Athletic Hall of Fame. Please join the community in celebrating the accomplishments of these four alumni athletes at a special virtual ceremony, which will begin at 6 p.m. Wearing Eagles gear is strongly encouraged! Last week, Harker alumni Vignesh Panchanatham '18, Haley Tran '17 and Lucas Wang '17 appeared at the first Harker CareerConnect event of the year, offering current students advice on how to make the most of their upper school experience. Advice ranged from club recommendations to tips on résumé building to finding internship opportunities!

Alice Tsui '13 recently appeared in this ad for Forever 21's Pride campaign! She can be seen at 0:27, 0:36 and 0:56! Before accepting the offer to appear in the ad, Tsui first decided to make sure she was in agreement with the company's goals. "I brought all of my concerns up to their creative director, expecting them to tell me point-blank they no longer wanted to work with me," she said. "But that didn’t happen. I called out everything I was worried about, from sustainability to corporate Pride monetization, and they addressed every point with grace and transparency."

A group of Harker students is organizing a community fundraiser for the African American Community Service Agency, a northern-California based organization dedicated to supporting the Bay Area African American community through education, wellness and culture programs. They are also teaming up with other Bay Area schools to increase impact. See below for more details!
