1st race of the year is 5 weeks away! Yo Great Race Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 15K... Team Hard Charger is coming for you! Week 2 of training is upon us! Here's the 6 Week 10k Training Program that I put together for myself and my Hard Chargers. ... Specifically designed with 2 things in mind... 1) To fit right in as an "Add On" to our regular training schedule here at Hard Charger Training Center and 2) For those of us who are not strictly "runners" per say, but still like to partake in some of the fun races that we have available to us locally every year! It's only 3 days per week of running and covers all the bases - easy runs, long runs, tempo runs, speedwork intervals... It is hands down the best 6 week program that I have put together of its kind! Now we do have a few Hard Chargers on our team who are doing the 5k instead of the 10k and a few who have never done race before - Which is pretty exciting! And for them I am making adjustments accordingly. Either way... Come race day you'll be walking up to the starting line feeling confident, running past every mile marker feeling strong and sprinting across that finish line feeling like the Hard Charger that you are!
