I am moving and am proposing an option to someone who is wanting to add a super athletic brood mare to their home. I am willing to trade a future foal from this mare for the mare. I'd like her bred to a palomino, buckskin, perlino, cremello or grulla stallion. What I am proposing is that I would get the first filly born. If she has colts the mare and colts are all yours, if she has fillies and colts...the first filly born is mine and all future foals and the mare are yours. This is a no money trade and an up front proposition to a stallion owner. Private message me if interested. Located in Pleasant Grove

Some large ponies/small horses. They are all quarter horses or 3/4 to 7/8 quarter horse. Sizes range from about 13.1 to 14.1. Most are 2, 3, to 4 year olds. All have great minds. Mares, geldings and stallions. Ready to start. They all were handled well as babies to yearlings but have not had much done with in the past year to two years other than maintenance. Most are blacks and blue Roans but there are a couple of days, buckskin and a cremello. $800-$1200 on most there are 1-$1500 and 2-$2500 I can also be reached by texting to 916-761-3678 This is probably the best way to contact me.

I have been asked about having a team of kids with an adult supervision entering the Training Challenge at Happy Bars Ranch. So I have one team interested...this could be a barn group or a 4-H group. Is there anyone else out there that can't do the individual regular challenge who would like to do it in a group division???

Have you ever wondered why they cut a mules tail in "bells"? Back in the day.....the Army used mules in service. A green mule had its tail shaved. By the time ...the mule was broke to pack, a 'bell' was trimmed in the tail. Once broke to drive, a second bell was added below the first. Broke to ride, a third tassel was trimmed below the second. Thus, a three-bell mule was a well-schooled animal. This way, when looking at a corral full of unknown mules, it was easy to identify which one to select for the job at hand! See more
