This gives them the ability to read Chinese independently. Heritage 2 - Grade 1~2 students continue to learn more Chinese characters and improve reading speed with zhuyin. Heritage 3 - Grade 2~4 students practice more reading and writing and learn Chinese idioms and other stories. Distance learning will be the norm for local elementary schools. Most of our Heritage and CSL Chinese classes will also be online also. If your kindergarten-1st grade child wants to learn zhuyin phonetics, contact us to discuss options.

Children take time to learn language in a slow and steady fashion. They do not have mature cognitive abilities to learn using memory tools and tricks. That is also why they learn more intuitively, but also take longer. They also need good structure and environment to learn.
