We are featuring our Vance, AL terminal for this week's #OnSiteSaturday! We have been up and running for 9 years now! There are 2 in-office employees and15 drivers that run out of our terminal. We cover a good bit of area too. We cover North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico! We are back to feature our Smyrna Terminal for today's #OnSiteSaturday! This terminal has been open since November of 2002. Regional Manager, Will C. reminisces about his time with the Smyrna terminal saying, "I had no gray hair then and Johnny, our Assistant Terminal Manager, had hair." Smyrna has approximately 65 total employees (drivers, staff, and mechanics) and 13 owner-operators. The company began leasing the Smyrna, TN facility in 2003 when we were awarded a contrac...t to ship Nissans out of the plant in Smyrna. The business grew quickly and we soon needed additional space. The landlord expanded the current office for us and shortly thereafter, we were fortunate to be able to purchase the property. Our customer is Nissan and the distribution includes all southeast states. We also wanted to take a moment to welcome our new Smyrna Terminal Manager Mark E.! "I’m very excited to join the Hansen and Adkins family and the team here in Smyrna, TN. Everyone has been very supportive and professional and I am excited to be a part of the team. I look forward to a long future with Hansen and Adkins!!"
