Foam Roller Exercises There are so many exercises you can do using a foam roller. Read below for a few examples. 1. Thoracic Spine Extension: bring the foam roller horizontal and lay on top of it. Put your hands behind your head to support your neck and allow yourself to extend backwards off of the foam roller.... 2. Pec Stretch: bring the foam roller vertical and lay on top of it. Bring your arms directly out in front of you and then bring them to the sides, as if making a T with your body. You should feel a stretch in the front of your shoulders. 3. Upper Extremity Scissors: bring the foam roller vertical and lie on top of it. Bring one arm up and the other one down.
