Servers are responsible for taking care of our guests and making them happy. Some duties include, but are not limited to: answering questions about the menu and food, taking orders and inputting orders into our system, communicating with chefs and team members patiently and thoroguhly, ensuring full payment on checks is recieved and the entire meal process has been taken care of, cleaning and organizing work areas and stations. Our teppanyaki chef primarily works in front of restaurant while cooking and preparing hot meals on hibachi tables directly in front of guests; ensures correct food portions are being cooked with care and maintains clean hibachi tables and kitchen areas. Prepares and sets up food for cooking and side orders. Teppanyaki is a Japanese style of cooking in which the chef prepares food on a hot griddle, often in front of dinner guests. This gives the chefs an opportunity not only to cook, but to entertain by performing tricks like flipping eggs in the air and producing miniature volcanoes out of sliced onions.
