Dear Hula Ohana, I hope everyone is trying their best to stay quarantined at home and staying healthy. As we all deal with the impact of the coronavirus in the U.S., it reminds us all of how precious life is and the importance of protecting our own health. For the health and safety of you, your Ohana, and everyone you are all exposed to I will be closing the Hlau for the rest of the month of March. Me ka mahalo,... ALHA! We are happy to share that we have reZOOMed our weekly hula classes! We had our Wednesday Basics and Adult Classes and Thursday Classes with our Cute Keiki. Please contact Kumu Moana at (530) 320-8952 for more information. We encourage you to join us from the comfort of your homes for your very own HULA HAPPY HOUR (alcohol optional - you do what you like in your own house , but keep moving!) Stay healthy. Happy ALHA Friday! Why have you not joined us for a hula class YET? We had our Baby Keiki and Big Keiki classes last night and, with just a little encouragement, a few brave parents joined in one of their songs. Oh, to see their little faces light up having mom or dad join in! Of course, we made sure the kiddos personally checked that their parents kept smiling AND bending. Mahalo for the fun! I don’t like shoes upon my feet. To be at ease is such a treat. I smile at everyone I meet. That’s the Hawaiian in me! REMINDER: Our Hula Basics Class is every Wednesday from 6pm - 7pm. No experience needed. ALL AGES WELCOME! Prerequisite? Look in a mirror and smile. That’s it. You’re in. Join us soon! We will be waiting for you...
