We have some updates Dear Hairtique By Bobi community, Here we are again another shut down, we are definitely getting good at this. Hopefully, the third time is a charm. With that being said, I can not thank each and every one of you enough for standing by me during these crazy times.... Just like all our other shut downs I am available to deliver any product that you may need. Don't forget products are a wonderful item to use as stocking stuffers. I have colored dry shampoo sprays as well as all your Olaplex, Amika and Kenra items. If there is a specialty item please let me know. As of now we are supposed to reopen Dec 28th. I do not believe that date to be accurate. I am hoping to be up and running by January 12th. Fingers Crossed!!! For those of you with appointments in January you will continue to receive reminders. I am not going to cancel them. Lets stay positive! I will be calling and texting to confirm or reschedule appointments. I will contact everyone a couple days before. I will be using the same rescheduling method as before, those canceled first, rescheduled first. I believe that is the best way to handle getting everyone back in. Once we are reunited at Hairtique, I will be sanitizing and disinfecting in the same manner. We will still need to wear our masks in the proper manner. Cover those noses friends. lol. We all hate the masks but if they help or if there is a chance they help, lets wear them. Your safety is my top priority. You are all very important to me. I wish we could all meet up at Hairtique before the holidays to wish each other a merry one, however just know I will be thinking of all of you. We have some updates Dear Hairtique By Bobi community, Well here we are a month in and not a lot of news to share. Hairtique partnered with our Sola family are doing everything possible to reopen. Sola put together a few peaceful protest with the hope of getting our industry back to work. Sola even went as far as going directly to the Capitol in Sacramento. During these protest our Sola family made sure that social distancing was enforced as well as masks, gloves and apr...ons were worn. A few stylists wore shields and other protective gear too. Safety was key during these protests. We thought that Hairtique and all other Sola members would be back at work by now. We are not sure how long this will last, we just need to stay positive. Please call Hairtique with any questions or concerns. If anyone has seen on Facebook or the news that our industry is reopening regardless of what the Governor says as of August 17, 2020, please realize I would love to. Sola is not allowing us to get back to work until the State reopens our industry. Although this is frustrating I support Sola's decision. I would love to reopen but Sola has been so supportive to their renters that I have to follow their wishes. I feel blessed being a part of the Sola family. If I wouldn't have made this move, my situation would have been quit different. Please call me if you have any questions regarding Hairtique waiting for the state to reopen us. We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19 Dear Hairtique By Bobi, Well here we are again, round 2 of Hairtique's close down. We made it through one time, we can do it again. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing anyone. I will be sending out emails whenever I receive information, no matter big or small. Please be on the look out for them. If you are on Facebook please friend Hairtique by Bobi or Instagram @Hairtiquebybobi, I will be posting updates there a...s well. I will be contacting everyone week by week this time. Rumors are that we will not be shut down as long. Fingers crossed this is accurate information. Sola is really going to battle for us, more so than last time. Austin was on NBC7 explaining how we are educated by California State Board on Sanitizing and Disinfecting our Studios, implements, and equipment. He has started a petition to get us reopened ( please sign its on my Facebook page), and has had each of his 600 stylists write letters to the Governor. In our letters to the Governor he has asked us to state what we do between each client to ensure their safety. We all know that is a lengthy letter, quite a few of you have had your appointments start an hour late because of cleaning. I am sorry for running behind but I would do it again and again to keep all of you safe. As I stated I will be contacting everyone week by week, please keep your appointments until you hear from me. I would rather your appointments be on my books until I have to remove them and reschedule. I know some of you have not had your hair done from the first lock down. You will be my first priority when we reopen. I have a list with everyone's names that have been canceled and will be contacting each of you with a new date. I will be rescheduling as I did last time. I feel rescheduling as you were canceled is the fairest way. I was pleased how smooth it ran last time. It is so great to be back! Welcome back to all of Hairtique's wonderful clients. Wow, how amazing it feels to be back at work. I just wanted to take time to thank each and every one of you for all your support. We are living in different times right now and navigating thru our new norm has been an adventure. Hairtique has a new way of disinfecting and sanitizing, which is taking quite a bit longer in between appointments. Being the owner of Hairtique I will do everything in ...my power to keep everyone safe. Which could come with appointments starting later than expected, which we know has happened. I can't thank all of you enough for the patience you are giving me when your appointments are starting later than promised. I am trying to figure out Hairtique's new normal and I am a work in progress. Another new norm for Hairtique is locked front doors. Don't forget to text me when you arrive so I can let you in. Please do not enter if another stylist states they will let you in. We can get in trouble for having our clients waiting in the common areas. A few of my clients have been let in by others and this is against all of Sola's rules and regulations per Covid guidelines. Thank you so much for understanding, we all want Hairtique to remain open. We just had to share! Hello Everyone We have all had stress in our lives over the last few months and I appreciate all the support each and everyone of you have bestowed upon me. All of the texts, calls and emails meant the world to me. ... I wanted to take this time to not only thank everyone but to announce that I have moved into my OWN STUDIO. Hairtique is still in the same building but now located in the center aisle, last studio on the right hand side. I was supposed to move in before the Virus hit. When Sola had to shut down there were so many problems to solve that Hairtique was put on the hold. We are a bit behind with the decorating, Hairtique will be a work in progress for about a month. I'm hoping I will have a chair, sink and the walls will be painted by Monday. lol Even though I would love everything perfect (which was the plan) I am going to be patient and have positive vibes only. A message to our Hairtique's Family regarding COVID-19 Welcome back, Hairtique has missed you. Providing a clean, safe, environment for you and your service is our #1 priority. Hairtique already follows strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols regulated by local agencies before the effects of COVID-19, but we've now adopted extra safety precautions and placed even greater emphasis on deep cleaning. We remain committed to continually evaluating what must be done to meet t...he needs of our customers and adhere to (and exceed) both Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and state regulations. The following safety precautions are being taken to protect the health and wellbeing of you and our staff during your visit. * Hairtique has taken a refresher course on Salon/Spa Infection Control and earned certificates. * Hands will be continuously washed throughout the day * Hairtique uses EPA registered disinfectant on tools, containers, and all surfaces that you may come in contact with during your visit. * Chlorine bleach is used for cleaning the salon. * Gloves will be used when and if needed. (these are optional) * Masks will be worn by both the client and myself. If you do not have one upon arrival Hairtique will have one for you to use. *Magazines will be removed for the time being. They cannot be disinfected. *Hairtique will use one chemical/haircut cape per client. *All clients will notify me via text when they arrive and I will let them in. The front doors will be locked upon arrival. (I will ask for forgiveness if it takes me a minute to let you in) Hairtique asks that you please stay home if you're feeling sick, and we will do the same. We will be happy to work with you to schedule another appointment as soon as you are feeling better. We are working hard to keep you and the salon community safe, and we know we can count on you too. We just had to share! Hello Hairtique Family I am so excited to finally get to say, WE HAVE PERMISSION TO REOPEN. Although those are amazing words we still do not have a date. I just got off the phone with our manager and he assures me he is working to get that date. His guess is somewhere between the 8th and 20th of June. Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later.... At Hairtique my goal is to insure the fairest opportunities possible to reschedule. I have taken accurate records of appointments that were canceled first and will be rescheduling in that order. As of now I will be working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I will be offering premium pricing days. Once I figure out those details I will send information. Please look out for emails with more information, you may become overwhelmed. Lol Our new Hairtique normal will definitely be different for a bit. I want everyone to feel as informed as possible. I have been hard at work trying to find solutions to get us through these out grown times. Two solutions I am currently involved in researching are root sprays and color refreshing conditioners.... The root sprays that I have the most knowledge is the one I use. It comes in a few different shades however they have two that will work best. Brunette and Blonde. These will soften the line of demarcation (grey line or regrowth)Their price point is $32.00 plus tax. The second temporary solution is a conditioner for the ends to refresh your color until we meet again. I have two different brands in mind. I use one that is amazing for brunettes and another that is wonderful for silver, brunettes, coppers and even a few fashion shades.
