I will be out of the salon for the next 2.5 weeks and will be returning April 8th. Thank you to every single one of my clients for being patient with me once again while we transition to our new home. Even though my stay this last location was short, it was a huge part of the new shift and new change towards happiness and leaving a very toxic environment. This place will always hold a special place in my heart.... But with that being said, we will still remain The Social Parlour and we are all moving together (minus @joylamay who I’ll miss so much but so happy that she is finally a salon owner herself!). WOW. I never thought standing on my feet for 8 hrs a day would feel amazing, but being back to work feels SO good (but for real though, my feet are DONE after the first day ). I know things are a little different right now, but I want you to know that your experience in the salon is my TOP priority. From the time you walk through the door to the time you leave, I’ve planned out everything to make sure you feel comfortable and as safe as possible through all of this. So...me things I’ve put into place are: mandatory face masks (for both you and I) temperature check hand washing as soon as you come through the door no waiting area - just text me when you arrive quiet area while you get your hair washed so you don’t have to worry about me taking over your head let the receptionist or I handle the retail products for you please come to your appointment alone It’s been so fun watching all of my clients today smile and laugh and just having fun. If you haven’t heard the news yet, LA county has received the OKAY to open all hair salons, barbershops, and dine-in restaurants!! YAY! As exciting as it is, C the Salon is not quite ready. We want to make sure that we are able to follow all guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of both our clients and staff. I promise to keep in contact with all of my guests and as soon as we set a definite date, I will start sending emails out to start booking appointment...s. Does anyone else feel like they are actually getting pretty used to being at home? I know for some of us (especially with kids) are feeling more and more restless and I totally sympathize with you! I know for myself, it’s starting to feel more and more normal. Anthony and I even have a routine that we’ve stuck to pretty consistently. We have been pretty good about staying with our same sleeping schedule and during the day, we have a schedule of when we can turn on the TV a...nd when we have quiet/work time. We even started going hiking regularly and I’m LOVING being in nature. One thing I thought I wouldn’t get used to when this started was not eating out/ordering food as much, but now, cooking is something I really enjoy and plan on continuing! What is one thing that you thought you wouldn’t get used to that is now not that big of a deal?
