Not improving my skill is not an option for me. . Do I have the choice? Absolutely. . But it’s my voluntary decision to master my craft and better my skill. I choose to educate myself to become a better version of myself behind the chair for myself and for you. . In just a few days I’ll be diving into the @dkwstyling.academy, a 12 month education program to master my technique and skill utilizing NBR. . Did I have to join the academy to offer @naturalbeadedrowsextensions? No. . June of 2020 I signed up for my first ever extension class with the master of extensions herself @daniellekwhite + @anianne_r & their team! . My class was in November & before I even arrived to my in person intensive class I had already been training 3 months prior to showing up - this was required. . 3 months of online pretraining, working on a doll head for 2+ months - then clients, a whole lot of beads, a few cuss words here and there, a 2 day in person intensive class to receiving my first ever certification in hair extensions . After leaving that 2 day class was I ready? After ALL of that was I ready? Did I feel that my skill was perfect, even after all of that? Hell no. . Did I want MORE?! Yes . Why? Because perfection does not exist. I want feedback, I want that extra push. I wanted more! I want it because I want to maintain a consistent / amazing experience just for you while sitting in my chair. . I want you to have the hair of your dreams. I want it so bad for you. I want you to leave my chair feeling the most confident in your own skin. I want you to change absolutely nothing in your lifestyle & I want you to have the most healthy hair + scalp. . NBR is an investment. It’s the best damn investment I’ve ever made - education included AND hair . I invest thousands of dollars into my education - I do it so I can show up as my best for you. . Nothing like a melted lived in blonde . I’ve been sooo in love with how many color melts I’ve done this time of year! All my blonde girls are transitioning to that melted lived in look and it’s been the best!! . Being able to push that hair appointment out 4 - 6 weeks more than normal is just what everyone’s has needed this year & I am here for it ... . Less bleach on the hair, a little less time in the salon, still suppper bright & just so so natural! . I wish I got a before!! Kala went from blonding every 6 - 8 weeks experiencing a really harsh grow out to now only having to visit every 12 - 13 weeks with the best / most natural grow out WIN WIN!! See more
