Dying for this red wine color This is my first born baby. She has the most gorgeous hair. It is naturally very curly and thick. It was so long. We cut about 3 inches off. I used 7 seconds blow out cream to smooth out her hair and get this perfectly blown out look.

Happy thanksgiving everyone! I am so thankful for each and every one of you. I have been working behind the chair for the past 20 years... omg that’s a lot of hair color, bleach , foil and most of all friendships! I hope all of you have a wonderful thanksgiving and take a moment to think about what you are thankful for. Life is full of ups and downs but we can still be forever thankful to God because of His great love for us we can be thankful!

Do you wish there was a product you could use in your hair that would help hold your curls/waves in place all day? My guest colored her hair with semi permanent hair color during the quarantine. Today she was ready to get rid of that and go for a more classic look. We cut off quite a few inches and added layers to create shape and body. Then I did a balayage highlight on her and tone her to a beautiful ash brown. Perfect for the winter months!

Do you ever want to grow out your hair but every time it gets some length on it your hair starts to look thin and scraggly?? When you have done hair a blunt shorter cut is the way to go not creates fullness and shape. Gives the illusion of thicker hair. This is what we ended up doing with @lianapons hair. Took about 4 inches off and did a #graduatedbob #haircut. I also lightened everything and really ashed it out. So she has a beautiful shape and color!

A lesson in going lighter.... my guest had dark brown hair color in her hair. And wanted to go lighter. She showed me 2 inspiration pictures. One was more of a honey blonde the other an Auburn brown. I suggested if she wanted to do. Either one go with the lighter first. We can go darker or more auburn after. But it would be harder on her hair to go lighter after we did the auburn tone. This way she has more options in the future. The hardest part is getting the dark color out. Once we are able to do that there are many color options. I really love this golden blend !

One of the greatest things about this look is that it’s very low maintenance. The upkeep is not every 6 weeks like a traditional hilight. More like 4 -5 months before a touch up is due. I do suggest coming in for a toner / glaze to refresh the color itself every 6 weeks or so. The truth is anytime you lighten the hair you will have to tone it and the tone will always fade. A toner is about a 30-45 min appointment (that timing includes blow drying ) it will refresh your color and make it look brand new! Also it gives incredible shine to the hair. Who doesn’t love shiny hair?

My guest was tried of keeping up with the high maintenance of her red hair. So she decided she wanted to give it a break and go back to her natural color. Look how shiny and healthy her hair looks now! I used @unite_hair 7 seconds blowout cream and U oil to blow her out and create this smooth look.
