With all the smoke and ash in the air it is important to make sure you and your engine can breathe. Below is a clogged filter next to a new filter. A clogged engine filter can reduce effeciency and you can imagine what a clogged cabin filter does to the AIR YOU BREATHE! Do you know we service trailers? This is a picture of an old rusty master cylinder from a boat trailer, and a new master cylinder for comparison. Rust can clog the brake lines and cause dangerous brake issues. (We also convert hydraulic brakes to electric... wink, wink.)

Hahn now offers STEAM SANITATION for any and every car that comes in for service. From now and going forward all the commonly touched surfaces including door handles, steering wheel, shifter, etc, will be sanitized when your vehicle comes in and again before you drive it home. We have invested in this steam sanitization machine so you can be confident that we are looking out for your health as well as your safety.

Hopefully self quarantine and social distancing will be over by this summer. If you have a boat this would be a good time to do some self care and maintenance. This is a short list of things to check: Trailer tires - Top them off with air, torque the lugs to spec. Fuel level - Is is low? Top it off and add fuel treatment. Batteries - Slow charge them overnight .... Drain plug - Remove it. Ventilate - Make sure you are not growing mold under the cover or in compartments. Remove all cloth gear and water toys. Inspect - V-belts - oil level - hoses - bilge - block drains - flame arrester. Check - Gauge operation - trim operation - throttle / shifter cables. Crank over engine for 10 seconds, better yet run it with a water source. If everything is good to go you will likely have a smooth start to your summer fun! To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are taking precautions to help minimize exposure and keep your family and ours safe. Rather, we are conducting business online, emailing repair orders and estimates, and taking payments by phone.
