Seeds remain on the ears for one week for continued therapeutic benefits. Easy to manage and can get wet from bathing.

Our Safety Policy We at Hirano Acupuncture Clinic place a high priority on the safety of our patients and our staff. The following is our protocol when people m...ake an appointment: 1. We ask all individuals to wear a mask or a scarf in our clinic. All of our physicians and staff also wear a mask. 2. We screen all patients regarding if they have or have been around someone with any fever, cough, shortness of breath, cold or flu symptoms before they are allowed to enter the clinic for their appointment. If yes, then they are asked to go home and call their healthcare provider for advice and will not be allowed to return for rescheduled appointment for 14 days. 3. All visitors to our clinic are asked to apply alcohol based sanitizer to their hands with our solution that kills 99.9% of germs as soon as they arrive. 4. All visitors have their forehead temperature scanned before entering the clinic using our non-touch IR thermometer. They are allowed in if there’s no fever. If there is, then they are asked to go home and call their healthcare provider for advice. 5. Door knobs, chairs, hangers, faucets, toilets and light switches are sanitized routinely. 6. All physicians and staff routinely sanitize their hands after each completed work. 7. Hello everyone, I want to share with all of you some techniques to deal with the stress, anxiety, tension and the inability to relax due to the COVID-19. These ...are time tested simple methods that works, both in battle and in the clinic. 1. Soften your hands and feet. Yes, that's it. Here are the reasons why it's beneficial.... Most of the body energy meridians begin and end at the hands and feet and softening them activates Chi flow. This has a direct effect on the mind because eventually, every meridian will travel to the top of the head to a acupoint called Baihui (that means "the meeting of a hundred connections") where it communicates with the brain. Baihui has a profound effect on the central nervous system. Relaxed muscles and anxiety is incompatible. This is based on research that used a machine Elmer and Alyce Green's developed along with a methodology called "Biofeedback". In this method, the therapist will guide the subject, wearing electrodes connected to a machine, to learn to control bodily processes that are normally involuntary like muscle tension, blood pressure or heart rate. This also lowers the brainwave frequency, also based on the scientific observations of Biofeedback when brain waves were measured. 2. Gently connect your thumb and middle finger-tips together of the same hand. This acupressure connections subdues the heart and relaxes the lungs/breath. resulting in a calming the mind and spirit. 3. Close your eyes and place your mind within the vast star field. Often we place our problems within the confines of human perimeters rather than with nature. If what bothers us can be represented by a cup of foul smelling poison placed in a small room, then its effect will be huge. Place it in a gymnasium then its effects become smaller. Place on an open field and its effect continues to become less. Place it in the ocean and it becomes even more diluted. See where I'm going with this? The star field is in fact where we are in reality. This perspective will have a calming effect which helps us to think and act better, certainly what we need in this day and age. All of the three methods will quickly work and help you through your day. Will doing this once be enough? No. It's like breathing and eating. This should be of part your daily routine. Please share this with your family and friends! Kind regards, Tatsuo Hirano, D.O.M., L. Ac. Hirano Acupuncture Clinic 1139 N. "Auriculotherapy, also known as ear acupuncture, is a medical technique that was discovered and developed by Dr. Paul NOGIER (1908-1996). The originality of the conception of Paul NOGIER is based on the fact that he considered that the diseases can be treated and cured by using physical approach." Dr. Raphael Nogier, son of the founder, Dr. Paul Nogier. As in the ancient Chinese auriculotherapy, the ear was viewed as the human body with the head side down. Dr. P Nogier Auricular therapy became one of the 3 recognized methods of Auricular Acupuncture in the world. There has been extensive research that linked the direct association of the nervous system, vascular system and the lymphatic system to the ear. https://scholar.google.com/scholar...
