Opening. Day. Yesterday was our first day back on water commercially since November 17th and quite honestly, it felt like waking up on Christmas morning (dressed in safety gear). Special thank you to everyone who patiently joined us as we tested, laughed and navigated our way through the first day of the season with our new safety guidelines. The outpour of love and support we received from our guests, community, and extended river family was (and continues to be) unbelievable. Opening day is officially 10 days away and we can’t even begin to contain our excitement. The past few days have been amazing and your stoke is giving us all the feels. The love, excitement, and support we’ve received from you all since announcing our reopening has been incredible! Like most who found themselves under the mandated stay at home orders, we watched a lot of reruns of the office. These reruns inspired the creation of lighthearted fun video to welcome everyone back into the season. With our last commercial trip being held at the end of our past season (November 18th) and our spring season closures extending weekly, we have been excited for the day we could share the news that we had a firm start date in the future. As always, the safety of o...ur guests and employees is our number one priority. We plan to take our time to ensure everything is properly prepared, our staff is confident and comfortable with the new protocols, and we are 1001% ready and able to provide the BEST DAY EVER experience you’ve come to know and love. Do you have any eco conscious swaps you have made and/or are planning to make this year? - Over the past few seasons we’ve put an emphasis on bringing a mission of sustainability into every aspect of our business. While certain aspects of being a raft trip outfitter have left us scratching our heads for a more environmentally friendly alternative, we continue to push for a better/more sustainable future.
