The Gypsea is going Mobile! Picked up a sweet RV that can haul ALL my gear in the back. Bikes, surfboards, snowboards, whatever I want! Driving it back to CA now, but I’ll be posting some camping dates coming up that you can join me on at San Elijo and San Clemente (to start).

Sharing some Gypsea Wisdom: Airfares from Long Beach airport to Maui are $124 ROUND TRIP. Yes that's right, from Long Beach, not LA, and the flights are direct. (yes, I booked mine!) Go book your flight! Get your Covid test a few day before and most importantly SELF-ISOLATE for at least a week before you go. It's the right thing to do.

SCORPION BAY Summer 2021 Who's interested in a once in a lifetime trip to Scorpion Bay, MX, in Aug or Sep 2021? I can take 6 guests for an all inclusive week of surf, gourmet food, and fun. Everything from airport transportation (from Loredo), to surf guides, to amazing SURF is included. Scorpion Bay is noted to be one of the longest right breaks in the world. Message me for details.

For the first time in my life, I finally have a wetsuit that actually fits me!! Custom fit Reunion Wetsuits, made with Japanese rubber. It cost the same as any other high-quality wetsuit off the rack such as Patagonia, but this one actually fits me and is long enough. Now all I need is some good surf to go try it out. The water is about 55 to 57 right now, so it should be a good test of warmth!

FINALLY we are getting snow! And finally, they lifted the travel restrictions! When surf is bad, grab the other board and hit the slopes instead! That's between 94" and 122" of snow between now and the weekend.

There’s the sport of surfing and there’s the spirituality of surfing, Bhojraj said. I was really moved by the spirituality of this endeavor.

San Elijo Camping: next April 16-21st. I’m really hoping we are allowed to have group get togethers by then and I can host Gypsea guests for a fun filled weekend of surfing. I’ll be providing more information on next years surf trips to Scorpion Bay, Cabo, Nicaragua, and much more.
