It's not enough to just be able to spot problems and pains that your clients have, you need to be able to solve them. To do that, you have to have a deep understanding of how the body works, how it interacts with different environments, and how the mind plays a factor. This kind of knowledge takes YEARS to learn, especially if you're not going to the right places. Luckily, if you want to dive deeper into biomechanics and understand the neuromusculoskeletal system as a whole..., then you are in the right place. We've taken the knowledge we've gained over the last 10 years and organized it into what we call the Multidimensional Movement Coaching program. It's multidimensional because movement isn't a one dimensional thing. We move in three planes of motion, but also as coaches we have to be multidimensional. Often times we are more than just personal trainers, we're someone to vent to, we're a friend, we're someone to rely on to not judge our clients for where they're at and where they want to be. This is why we intentionally created this course to cover everything from biomechanics to psychology to business. It's a 90 day program where you will walk away with: A deeper understanding of how the body works BiomechanicallyNeurologicallyPhysically Ability to coach clients based on their personality Movement strategies for programming well-balanced workouts Ability to keep group training individualizedAbility to modify exercises for pain An outline of services you offerAbility to train effectively virtually Additional revenue streams that don’t require your time A certification that gives you practical and applicable knowledge If you're ready to start your journey to becoming a Movement Master and joining our tribe of knowledgeable, intentional and mindful coaches healing people and increasing their quality of life, click the link in our to learn more about the program. P.S. Our course also counts for continued education credits ________________________________________________________ #MDMC #personaltrainercertification #functionalfitnessspecialist #functionalfitnesscoach #functionalfitness #continuededucation #functionalfitnesstraining

It's Team Takeover Tuesday!! Mostability = Mobility + Stability Training and programming mostability for your athletes is one of the most beneficial things you can do for them. By doing this, you are promoting longevity and saving them from an early retirement from the the things that they love to do like hiking, biking, playing with their kids, etc. Before you can start programming more stability and mobility into your athletes' workouts, you have to first understand the relationship between mostabilit...y and the joints. In the following slides, we've classified the major joints into more mobile or more stable. None of your joints fall into one category and not the other. Your joints can be classified along a continuum because every joint needs both mobility AND stability, but to differing degrees. For example, the hip is going to require more mobility than your elbow which requires much more stability. Have questions about mostability? Drop them in the comments below! Otherwise if you totally get it, show us that elbow joint and leave us a flex . #mostability #mobility #stability #mobilitytraining #joints #jointmobility #jointstability #functionaltraining #mobilitywork #mobilityflow #stabilitytraining #stabilityworkout #stabilityexercises #flexibilitytraining #functionaltrainingspecialist #functionaltrainer #biomechanicseducation #biomechanics #chainreaction #chainreactionbiomechanics

It’s #teamtakeovertuesday !!! And today our social media and content manager @thecampusmorale is taking over the story!! Some info on this super savvy lady:... She’s a high energy, fun-loving, relationship builder who loves to travel, eat good food, and adventure. She played competitive soccer through college but loves dabbling in other sports like volleyball, surfing, golf, futsal, and probably a few more. This girl has THE MOVES. She loves to dance and sing her little heart out. She’s originally from New Orleans but moved to Manhattan Beach in 2005 and has lived in California ever since. She’s big into personal development and is always looking to learn something new whether that’s a skill, about the world or about herself Fun facts: she’s not a big fan of mushrooms, her secret talent is whistling, she’s great at untying knots, she makes a mean vegan lasagna. Get to know her more throughout the day by tuning into our story!! #gettoknowher #teamtakeover #gymnazoteam #teamgymnazo #functionaltrainingspecialist #mdmc

Most of the time we move subconsciously because our bodies have created patterns that we simply repeat. In other words, we let our bodies make the choice in how we move. When it comes to movement pains, discomforts and dysfunctions, this isn’t a always a good thing. When we are experiencing any type of discomfort while moving it’s because we are not practicing good movement patterns. Take picking up something off of the floor, for example. Do you squat down? Lunge? Bend at ...the hips? There are tons of different ways you can approach picking something up off of the floor. There’s no one correct way. There’s only a better way for you that leads you to practicing good pain free movement patterns. You ultimately have a choice in how you move, so we encourage you to bring more awareness to how you sit down, how you get up, how you reach, how you pick something up, and experiment with what feels like the most efficient route. And if you’re experiencing pain while doing any of those things, shoot us a DM and let us know so we can help you find and rebuild a new movement pattern that is safe, efficient and pain free. #painfreemovement #painfreetraining #painfreeliving #movementisachoice #movementmatters #movementtherapy #functionaltrainingspecialist #functionaltrainer #functionalfitnesstraining #thechoiceisyours

Prior to her time at Gymnazo she was actually an Animal Science Major in college and used to be a zoo keeper, but didn't want to pick up poop forever so she decided to go back to her fitness roots and started training adding strength and conditioning into my soccer teams fitness program. A short time later she got a lead on a cool internship at a place called Gymnazo, and the rest is history!
