Here is an Idea for all Scout Leaders to do to take advantage of "Stay At Home" time. Catch up on your Training! Almost all training is available online. For all Direct Contact Leaders you need these trainings: Youth Protection Training (YPT)... Many of your YPT certificates will be expiring this year. Now is a great time to get updated with YPT. Position-Specific Training This is the training to get leaders ready for their specific position. All but Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills is available online. Hazardous Weather If you didn't take this as part of the online portion of the Position-Specific Training you need to take this online course. It is available as a stand alone course online. This is a newer requirement for all Leaders dealing with youth as a Direct Contact Leader. Take a moment and check out your training status on My.Scouting. Remember a Scout is Thrifty.
