Taking time to SIT DOWN to think, to strategize and to prepare for the abundance of the coming week! An abundance of awareness, an abundance of growth within my business, and the abundance of change that is on the horizon for us all....#sittingdowntothink

Now is not the time to be silent, it a time for us all to find our specific and unique voice, a time to find our way to be heard and make sure that those that we are speaking too hear you us without a shadow of a doubt!!!! I’ve learned a lot these past two week and if nothing else I have learned the effects of telling my own story and how it to can change lives globally! I will not be silent, I will not cease and desist on my emotions and feeling and I promise you with out a shadow of a doubt I will NEVER EVER AGAIN ALLOW ANYONE TO SPEAK FOR ME......WHILE I SIT BACK AND WAIT. SO BRING IT!!!!...I’m prepared, ready and have been waiting for such a time as this to remind people of the real me Gwen Washington’s son from INGLEWOOD CA........ SPEAK OUT AND BE HEARD!!

Post 13 of 13 Present day. Here’s what I’ve learned and here’s what I know. ... You have to know who you are, who you ultimately want to be, and take responsibility when you fall short. Nothing, no promotion, no career, is worth becoming someone you’re not proud of. If the person you see when you look in the mirror is not in alignment with who you want to be, it is critical that you make a change. For my part, the Asshole is gone. I had to take a step back to assess who I was, and the old me- the guy who didn’t see the importance of relationship building, the guy who got so wrapped up in the titles, the big house, and someone else’s vision that he forgot who he was- couldn’t coexist with the man I wanted, and needed, to become. I will never again not directly address an issue or rely on someone else to fix a mess for me. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, or what assurances are made; if my name is attached to it, it’s my responsibility to take care of it myself. No one else is going to do it for me. I will never assume that folks won’t believe the stories people put out there, no matter how ridiculous or untrue. All it takes is one outlet to pick something up and that’s all she wrote (no pun intended). I married up, big time! My wife is a gangster who always has my back and I don’t deserve her. She looked me dead in my face, formed a two-hand circle with me and told me there was nothing anyone could do to break us, or, stop the call God has on my life. Nothing. And I believe her. Controlling your own narrative is a must. I never cared about being a brand, I just cared about doing the work. I called it being low-key but it was really carelessness, because the truth is, nobody knew me. Nobody knew my character. And because nobody knew the real me, when the allegations came out, there was nothing for people to base them against. The only story out there that spoke to who I was as a person at all, was that one. Never again. I’ve got work to do. Am I worried that the next time I submit an amazing pitch deck to a television network they’ll Google Search me and, instead of reviewing all of my career accomplishments, they’ll see these articles? Sure. Will I let that stop me? Absolutely not. I’ve got knowledge to share, empires to build, communities to give back to, and TV magic to make. The end. But sometimes, the end is just the beginning.
