We would like to offer a warm welcome to Dr. Mitra Ayazifar. We are very excited to be adding eye surgeries to the list of the many types of procedures we perform at GVSC. Dr. Ayazifar has just opened her own private practice in Grass Valley and she provides a wide range of treatments for eye disorders. We would like to welcome Dr. Todd Christensen to the Grass Valley Surgery Center team. Dr. Christensen is an experienced orthopedic surgeon new to our area. His new office is located at 280 Sierra College Drive, Grass Valley California.

Provider Spotlight: Rebecca Seijas-Ball, C.R.N.A., MSN. Rebecca is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist that has been providing anesthesia for over 10 years and has been full time at the Grass Valley Surgery Center for more than 2 years. She has been board certified since 2009 and provides full anesthesia services to patients of all ages and surgical needs. Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesiology ...from the University of North Florida. Hospital training sites included Shands Jacksonville FL, Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville FL, and Tampa General Hospital. Before moving to Nevada County, she provided anesthesia at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, a level II, 839 bed hospital in Sarasota FL, for seven years. In her personal time, Rebecca enjoys playing oboe with the Nevada County Concert Band, spending time with family, cooking, reading, and crafting. See more

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Ron James to the GVSC family. Dr. James is an orthopedic surgeon and performs a variety of procedures on the joints and bones of the body. He will be performing outpatient surgeries at GVSC. Welcome to the team Dr. James!

GVSC would like to welcome Dr. Nathan Payne to the area. Dr. Payne treats foot and ankle pathology, both surgically and non-surgically. His practice is at Valley Foot and Ankle Specialists located at 104 Margaret Lane, Grass Valley.
