With the holidays right around the corner, the GVCH would like to help you get your last minute gifts. Since we have been shut down all year, we have a ton of raffle baskets and gifts we would like to virtually auction/ sell! The money from these sales will help offset the cost of keep the Hall running while it's been closed and also help us make space for new stuff once we are able to open again. Tomorrow afternoon (Monday 12/14) we will be posting an album on our site wit...h photos of what we have available. All items have a title card with their price/starting bid. We will leave this album open for bids until Friday Night at midnight. Saturday Morning we will tag any winners to set up pick-up times for their prizes. We have finally received official word that this year's Green Valley Days festivities have to be cancelled due to the restrictions in LA County regarding in person gatherings. We had tried to submit a plan to just do our annual parade without the cookout and carnival, but unfortunately since the parade draws spectators together, it also falls under the new restrictions as well. We apologize to our friends and neighbors for the delayed info as we were fighting behind the scene...s to make this happen, but the safety of the community comes first so we must follow the County guidelines. We have, however, been busy working on building improvements, and some new projects for when we are able to open back up for events hopefully more toward the end of this year. We look forward to that, but until then, everyone enjoy your holiday and continue to Stay Safe!

Happy Wednesday! When visiting the Hall yesterday afternoon, I noticed we were visited by some local artists on our back patio! We loved seeing all the artwork and would love to invite some of our younger residents to decorate it further if they should so choose. We just ask that it is under parental supervision and to be sure to only use washable chalk. Please only draw on the cement areas, not the posts, tables or other wood surfaces. Also please be respectful of existing ...drawings, we want to make sure everyone's can be seen, so no drawing over someone else. Feel free to post photos, and if one of these is yours please claim your art by tagging yourself or using the hashtag below! #GVCHChalkZone

Good Morning Everyone, I'm sure by now everyone is aware of the current situation, and the troubles we are all dealing with due to the COVID-19 Outbreak. Due to these circumstances, this morning the GVCH was advised by city health officials to cancel or postpone all events until further notice. The current time frame is through the end of April, which means not only must we cancel our Pre-Paddy's Party this Saturday, but also our Easter festivities coming in April. We plan o...n staying on top of all the current updates and trying to get back to our regular scheduled events once it is safe and cleared to do so. We apologize to our friends and neighbors for this inconvenience, but we want to hold the health and safety of our community above all else.
