Today marks day 15 of our chicks in the incubator! We have candled all of the eggs and discarded any eggs with undeveloped embryos. On day 18, we will stop turning the eggs, turn up the humidity and await the hatching of our fuzzy friends!
Finishing up their dinosaur month, our Shooting Stars (toddler and young 2’s class) did a dinosaur STOMP, sensory exploration with frozen Dino eggs, and completed an all-things-purple collage (color of the month). We love how engaging and hands-on our young learners are! A special thanks to Ms. Cox and Ms. Meghan for creating and implementing such a fun curriculum that encourages curiosity and a love for learning!
Our New year, different worlds theme is coming to an end . Dinosaurs and Outer Space is always a favorite among many children. Ms. Eames’ Big Dippers (junior kindergarten/kindergarten) class spent their morning creating dinosaur habitats and learning more about different Dino-diets and what it means to be extinct
This morning was cold! And what’s fun about winter, is we can experience nature at its best! Some of our playground was frozen when we went outside this morning! We got to play with and experience actual frozen surfaces! so much fun to learn about the science of weather!
We have been having a BLAST expanding our knowledge and feeding into our curiosity! Everyday brings fun, new adventures at Guiding Stars Academy
