Our tote bag sale is back; donation drop off as well!!

Book Donations Accepted - One Day Only Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 from 12 Noon to 3 pm Guerneville Regional Library 14107 Armstrong Woods Road We are happy to report that the River Friends of the Library will begin to accept book donations! This will be on a trial basis for one day only. We will be ready to accept your donations in the parking lot of the Guerneville Regional Library from 12 noon through 3 pm. We will also have a small selection of books for sale for cash only. We ...will not be able to accept checks or credit/debit cards at this time. Please bring only good quality books, DVDs or CDs. No magazines, cassettes or videos. We will not be able to accept any items left earlier than noon or later than 3 pm. Items left at the Library when no River Friends volunteer is present will be discarded. And Library staff will not be able to store any donated items for us. Everyone must follow Sonoma County protocols by wearing a mask that fits over your mouth and nose, and by keeping at least six feet from other people and the volunteers. We will have hand sanitizer available for use during this time. Once we see if this process can work, we will set up additional Sunday donation drop offs and mini-book sales in the near future. #eBooksForAll On November 1, MacMillan Publishers restricted all public libraries to purchasing only one copy of a new eBook after its release and imposed an eight-week embargo on buying any additional copies of the title afterwards. This increases your wait time for eBooks and limits libraries' ability to provide access to information for all. This decision has a disproportionate impact on low income and disabled library patrons, who may have financial or mobility reasons to prefer electronic books. You Can Make A Difference.
