Moving at the speed of Wow

Grand Terrace Cars & Coffee 09.01.2021

We made some new friends at GT Cars & Coffee this morning. Even if it was a little light to start the year. We appreciate those who came out. Obviously, I loved Ben's 65 GTO, even had a Goat to post by the emblem. Brought wife and daughter with the El Camino and the VW. I have to give a shoutout for the VW. It's very rare to find VW's with "EMPI Equipment" on them. But finding wheels, an EMPI steering wheel is rare. EMPI was first HOT in Riverside when the VW Dealer was equip...ping many VWs with wheels, exhaust systems and other accessories in the late 60s and 70s and other dealerships caught on. What's really rare on this VW is they kept the original bolt pattern and it matched up with a "NEW" Disc Brake Set up. It was also Pony Day, as we had many of our regulars with their "Ponies" and Don's 40 Ford is just too cool. Kathy and her very cool 55! Hope to see more of you back next month. Thanks for coming out. See more

I thought I would leave you with a positive memory from 2020, since there weren't many. I received an update from Kathy Braxton, the Sick n tired group that supports mothers18 and older in their recovery program. Because of our resident's generous donations to the toy drive, through Woody's, Grocery Outlets, Stater brothers and our Grand Terrace Cars and Coffee toy drive parade, they were able to distribute toys to families for 3 days. They were able give many of the kids several toys, all thanks to all of our community's participation. Thanks for your support, it means a lot. Take care and stay safe.
