For those whose First Aid/CPR certification has recently expired, here is a temporary fix until the training department finalizes their blended learning training. The American Red Cross has been closely monitoring the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and focusing on the best ways to carry out their lifesaving mission. Because of this, they recently enacted a free, online-only 120 day certification extension course. This enables a certificate holder to extend any b...ase level certifications that expire between March 30 - December 31, 2020 that were acquired through instructor-led or blended learning classes taught in the community, full service, or AP/LTP channels AP/LTP channels refers to Authorized Providers of which GSUSA and GSSGC are part. Have you always wanted to work in one of our shops? It is exciting to see the newest merchandise first! It's fun to visit with leaders and girls from all over our council as they shop. Plus learning a new skill to add to your personal tool kit is always useful. As you may know, we have 5 shops across our council. We are looking to train people in all 5 regions so that we have helpful hands available.... As we currently have restrictions on our girl's meeting indoors this opportunity is only for adults, at this time. Masks and all sanitary processes will be followed.
