If you can't fly this is a great thing to do, plus it gets you out of the house to visit your aircraft and it is essential! Remember if you can't fly for an hour do this, If you can't do this then properly preserve your engine. DO NOT just go out and do run up, DO NOT get a Normal oil change an d leave your aircraft sit, that does not properly protect your engine from corrosion...Stay Well and Safe out there! To all Gryphon customers (especially F70 customers). It has come to my attention that there is a rumour that myself and other Gryphon team members may have the Corona Virus and that I am currently hospitalized. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Myself and our team are 100 % healthy and practicing all guidlines as recommended by the government. We are also using a special aircraft dissenfectant on all aircraft prior to delivery. We take the team members health and well ...being very seriously as well as your aircraft when we perform maintenance on it. Garmin is discontinuing all WAAS upgrades on the 400/500 platforms. You must place the order for you upgrade prior to March 29th! PRODUCTS AFFECTED: Garmin GPS 400, GNC 420, GNS 430, GPS 500, and GNS 530 units are affected.... ISSUE: In order to support future GNS 400W/500W series repairs, Garmin will be ending WAAS upgrades for non-WAAS GNS 400/500 series products on May 29, 2020. WAAS upgrade orders can be placed up until this date, however units must be received by Garmin by June 30, 2020. Repairs will be available for the non-WAAS 400/500 series 28v units with 16W COM Transmitter and all 14/28v non-WAAS 400/500-series units. These units will not be able to be eligible for the WAAS upgrade after May 29, 2020, but repairs will continue to be available after this date. We sincerely regret discontinuing service or support on any Garmin product.
