NEWPORT AVENUE, BETWEEN NORTH 11TH & 12TH STREETS On Friday, September 27th, the City will install temporary pavement striping consisting of bike lane symbols and striping, a diagonally striped bike protection zone, intersection stop bars, and street centerline striping. This striping provides a preview of the permanent striping designed for the project and will help pedestrians, cyclists and drivers to better understand the new street layout. The exhibit shown below also provides a description of each component of the street layout. For more information, please visit the City’s website at www.groverbeach.org or contact the Public Works Department at 805-473-4530.
