Had a lovely covid-birthday. Went to Moss Beach Distillery with fire pit seating facing the ocean (no parking lot dining for us! ) Later went to Dolores Park to see the bright (full?) moon and sat around watching neighborhood fireworks all the way from Oakland to The SF Marina, and the Mission to the Fillmore district. Got a super special present when these fireworks went off about 100 yards (300’ 3600) from us. Take a look at the video. It’s short. Thank you all for the bi...rthday wishes and i miss everyone in these new times. Such mixed emotions in the world right now. Sadness for Hong Kong. Fear around Russia (Putin for life?). Restlessness and acceptance around Covid. Our new normal. But than excited to kick out Trump and sighs of relief and hope that the Black Lives Movement will continue its work and insist on change. I already feel a slight shift in our city and i love and embrace it. So I am looking forward to the future although it’s going to be filled with a lot of emotions and i expect a lot of change. But I’m ready and holding on as i turn 47! I have my wife next to be who i love and adore. She gives me courage to change and strength to follow thru-the space to be myself and to believe in dreaming and making goals a reality. Much to come this year and very excited to share my life with Gillian and to make time for friends, working less (finally!) and to share my next chapter on Instagram. Lol. See more
