Linda's cottage has been a wonderful and romantic escape from normal life in quite possibly one of the most beautiful coastal villages we have had the pleasure to experience. Every conceivable requirement has been considered, so when you return from a day of sightseeing, you will be spoiled by the style and comfort of this luxurious space. We loved all the goodies that Linda bestowed on us daily. The antiques and decor give you that beautiful 'Carmel Cottage' feeling that we'...ve come to love...Linda will ensure you want for nothing. The linens and all of the amenities were top notch, the robes were yummy and she even had stamps...unbelievable. AND it sparkled...everything immaculate! She is the consummate hostess and will ensure your stay with her is special and very memorable. If you are lucky enough to secure a reservation, you will enjoy EVERY moment in this Carmel Valley haven. Oh...the property...the gardens, the 100+-year-old Oak Tree's and of course all the four-legged animals that visit you daily. Selfishly, I’d love to keep this little gem to myself, but in the interest of being a good human, I’ll be honest. This is by far, hands down THE BEST Airbnb I’ve ever rented! Linda is an amazing hostess, every need met and exceeded. The bed was so comfy, and the suite impeccably furnished going overboard on every need you can imagine. It’s hard to describe this property, it’s one of a kind which is what makes it so special! She has the sweetest pups of all time and a very friendly feline who loves to wake you and join you in 'her bed'. The only regret to renting this, is that I didn’t book more days... and I mean many more days. Do yourself a favor, and experience this true piece of paradise!! Amy S. St. Helena, CA

What a great stay! Linda was so attentive and kind, and I greatly appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure we had a great day. The cottage itself was gorgeous. It's nice amenities and beautiful country antiques were appropriate for this beautiful site and added a special ambiance to our overall stay. The bed was even comfier than the bed I sleep in at home, and my home mattress is the one that's supposed to be a fancy memory foam mattress! The location was... ideal; Carmel Valley is sunny, and Linda's place is right in the middle between Carmel Valley Village and Carmel-By-The-Sea/Monterey. Everything was quick to get to, yet Linda's place offered a special, secluded retreat with incredible views. We loved being able to connect the TV to Netflix so we could watch our shows. The free passes to the Monterey Aquarium were great to have -- a $100 savings! We also appreciated the beautiful bottle of wine and basket of goodies and a stocked fridge...very unexpected. My wife and I had a great stay at Grey Gardens. It's cozy, comfortable and very private. And quiet. The cottage provides everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is a patio with chaise lounges and a great firepit that we relaxed at after every day of exploring the beautiful Monterey Peninsula....the stars in Carmel Valley are the most incredible I've ever seen. Her outdoor lighting in our space has beautiful lighting which when lit, creates a great atmosphere. Communication with Linda was stellar and no problem with check in and we appreciated all the small goodies that went along with the room that wasn't mentioned in Linda's Airbnb page.
