This is how vineyards grow on Canary Island in Lansarote. The small island has more than 300 volcanoes and therefore the place is mixed with a lot of ash. Grape saplings are planted specifically in dug pits with a width of up to several meters. This is done to make it easier for the roots to reach the fertile soil layer and to maintain the moisture of the grapes. There is practically no rain here, no artificial irrigation, the plants are fed from the dew, concentrating the walls of the cones around it.(Quote from Ivelina Stefanova)

Just heard that the tallest tree in Wales got damaged by a storm and was supposed to be cut down, instead chainsaw artist Simon O'Rourke found a better solution to symbolize the tree's last attempt to reach the sky. How Cool is That?

"Ghost Apples" An unusual phenomenon when freezing rain coats rotting apples before they fall, the apple turns mushy and eventually slips out, leaving the icy shell resembling the apple still hanging on the tree. So crazy looking, have you ever seen anything like this?

Gardeners during the coronavirus pandemic be like... Seriously though, gotta love the creativity (not as a n95 replacement obviously, but as a simple face cover it is pretty cool). Biodegradable, smells great and you can show off the pretty cabbage you grew out in the yard!
