Sun going down and David still at it with me. Not sure why he was tired he had only completed the following on Friday: 1. Picked, checked, wrapped & shipped 100 plus orders.... 2. Wrapped, labeled and moved out a 700 pound pallet. 3. Listed nearly 500 titles and shelved them across the warehouse. 4. Stayed to help me, I was out of steam, and unload 220 30 lb boxes of a very large donation from a trailer. 5. I know our exact production numbers as I get constant updates, prices, reject rate. 6. Knew Fedex Freight picked up, had a text as the truck left. Zero chance we could operate without this amazing team member. Minor detail, he listed 80% of everything we listed last week, last count 1200 + titles, I lost track. Here is David after we finished and 2 mins before I sent him home in an Uber to get him home ASAP. One word for David - Superhuman !!

Michael, our longest team member, we have now been at four locations for many years. Starting many years ago boiling alive in a non AC dingy warehouse with flashlights strapped to our heads. Thank you Michael and Connie, you should have run screaming rather than laugh !! Michael now took over managing all ordering of all our packaging supplies. Every size of envelope, tape, wraps you name it. Best part was our incredible job coach, Banisha, and I had the conversation afte...r I forgot to check supplies, Michael chirps up, I already ordered them, called the vendor. ! Who is leading who here !!! Michael is our incredible scanner, checking using hardware and software what we keep and do not keep. Michael started listing yesterday, listed 160 audio visual products yesterday alone. Michael picks and ships, all our expedited, high value and multi-orders every AM, starts way before 8 AM. This gentleman also has the record of loading and packing a trailer with 26 pallets in 28 minutes, pallets are 700-1000 lbs each. I'd say our motto, "employment for adults with different abilities" is missing the word exceptional. Thank you Michael, incredible, incredible job !

Very grateful to the huge donation made this week, over 10,000 books. We really do employ only adults with special abilities. I left most of the week to facilitate and physically move probably 80 pallets. They run the operation, from listing to picking, to QC, to shipping, they do it all. I need to know what to do, how is what I am bringing in, they tell me and I act, one team. ... Short week and we listed nearly 1600 individual titles, about 300 mine the rest the amazon team, our job coaches and incredible Hope staff, above and beyond every day. Best part David, in the picture together, told me this afternoon "you need to step it up" as we listed, had me laughing all day, told the team, think I just got a write up ! Thank you guys, whole GSB Hope team, totally the best, nobody can do what you guys do !
