Green Light Basketball Academy 16.12.2020

We are LIVE! If you or anyone you know may be interested in online basketball coaching this summer, check out my shooting program, available for download today. This training is divided into 7 segments with about 2 hours of content, including free access to my 49-page e-book as an additional resource, which complements each topic of the video series. I have set 25 minutes of the course as a free preview in multiple segments, including access to the PDF e-book, so you can get... an idea of what to expect and see if you’re interested in full access to the course. I’m extremely proud of the final product and consider it my greatest contribution to the game of basketball, because of the potential effect I know it can have on players and coaches around the world. I also had to make a big move away from my comfort zone to make it happen, and I already know it was worth it. Thanks so much for all the support so far and people already offering to share this with their networks! Please feel free to reach out to me if you’re interested in more details of promoting it or partnering. For details on the training, visit greenlightbasketball.com/online-training, or click the link in my bio.

Another #SnapShotStudy edition of the of shooting, @stephencurry30. One thing I’ve heard criticized about Steph’s shot (the audacity, I know...) is that he flicks the thumb of his off hand forward on the release. My response to that? Simply asking the question, Yeah, ok. But when does he do it? As you can see here, Steph’s guide hand is completely OFF the ball as he extends to his release. Yes, his thumb is forward, but it absolutely 100% doesn’t matter! As long as the gu...ide hand starts coming off the ball prior to the shooting arm extension, his off hand can do whatever it wants, because it no longer has any affect on the flight of the shot. Now, if his thumb started coming forward while his guide hand was still connected to the ball, THEN this critique would make sense. But there’s a reason he’s the greatest shooter of all-time, and the reason for that has a lot more to do with all the things he does right as opposed to him succeeding in spite of his flaws, as I heard someone say. Until next time, keep shooting YOUR shot, building good habits, and get #GreenLit See more

#throwbackthursday Being able to continue competing after college was special for me. The reason being that I know I maxed out my ability as a player with the gifts I’d been given. That’s all any of us can do. Thankful for this opportunity that took a ton of hard work and allowed me to compete with and against some of the best former college players and pros in that era. #GoRainmakers

I got my start in private training through this company back in 2013. @Coachup connected me with young players looking for personal coaching, and I was able to start building my business and reputation through their platform. With all the restrictions in place over the past few weeks, I have expanded my reach with online training options. These videos will release on June 1, and I’ll be sharing previews of the content in the coming days and weeks. Huge thanks to @CoachUp for helping me get my start 7 years ago and make Green Light Basketball a positive training experience to kids all over the Bay Area. See reviews in my story highlights for testimonials from my past clients! I’ll be posting more soon! #coachup
