I appreciate the endless number of dirt roads and vast mountain sides. Wild turkeys and two bobcats welcomed us the first day.

It was well worth an hour gathering up some rocks just for this reason!

Born on the job at Los Gatos Meadows

Kidding season started February 27th and will continue for the next 45 days. Each day, 3-5 kids will be born. For the first two weeks after birth, mothers & newborns stay in our nursery stalls to ensure the kids stay strong!

Photos of the triplets from today. They were born at Cordevalle Golf Club in San Martin and brought back to the ranch for safe keeping. #greengoats

Triplets today! Triplets are tough on any mom, including goats. Kid goats tend to not have enough fat on them to keep them warm at night, and require mom’s milk for nutrients and warmth. The kid on the left is the smallest of the three, and we will need to made make sure it’s getting enough milk for the next two weeks. #greengoats
