Paul Rand About Mark's Career in Homebuilding: Mark closed deals for more than 11,000 residences, generated billions in sales transactions, and participated in development, lease-up and repositioning for mixed-use projects and mid- and high-rise properties throughout California. Mark Higgins was a driving force behind the growth and success of Trumark Homes & its brand, in addition to his early career with two National Home Builders - Centex homes and D.R. Horton Homes. With a passionate eye for design and a meticulous sense of precision, he defied convention by embracing risk as a catalyst for innovation in our industry and bringing projects to life. Mark embodied a deep understanding of every aspect of the development lifecycle, putting into practice his more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, design, branding, market analysis, and public relations. At Trumark, his responsibilities included overseeing several divisions of Trumark Companies burgeoning portfolio, including pre-development design, programming, sales, marketing, and underwriting. Mark stood at the helm of sales and marketing initiatives for one of San Francisco’s largest condominium portfolios with nearly 1,000 units and total project revenue of over $1.3 billion, as well as TEN50, a luxurious DTLA 25-story residential building which sold out in 2018. Most recently, from 2017-2020, Mark oversaw the master marketing of VIBE Palm Springs for Jen Partners, as well as did private consulting. Mark earned Gold at National Association of Home Builders’ The Nationals as National Marketing Director of the Year. Mark earned his B.A. degree from California State University, Long Beach.
