Our amazing Easter celebration at GranVida! Going out of your way to bring happiness to the ones we care for is a simple thing to do that comes from within. Residents are wearing the beautiful masks that the Art Committee made. Everyone is enjoying all of the beautiful work of our Decorating Committee. Also the beautiful baskets with goodies provided by our Residents Organizing Committee with help from a generous enthusiastic teenaged volunteer, Olivia B. From Carpinteria. Because our SPARK method gives purpose to everyone, this is an eggstra special Easter!!!

Our SPARK method is all about giving purpose to life and what better purpose than getting ready for Easter! Our decorating committee is taking charge of making this wonderful egg hunting event happen!

Easter is around the corner and GranVida will be hosting lots of cute bunnies! Our residents are on a mission making beautiful bunny masks to wear during the egg hunt! Not only GranVida residents will have fun wearing these cute masks, but also the WorkAbility students from Carpinteria Middle school will be receiving masks to celebrate and have fun. Soon when we are open again, the students will come and be mentored by our wonderful residents on how to achieve their goals in life. Fridays of banana split!! Our residents love to sing along, and what a better way to do it than enjoying a delicious banana split! Delicious ice cream, bananas, chocolate syrup, weep cream and of course the cherry on top is a must!! Schedule your visit to GranVida and if is Friday you may be able to indulge on this delicious treat!

Saint Patrick's day was another beautiful day at GranVida. Our residents enjoyed a wonderful event with music, drinks, dance and lots of fun all Irish related. But that wasn't everything that they enjoyed. Our Executive Chef Jose Tafolla and his wonderful team were responsible for the delicious meals and desserts that our residents ate. Today with out a doubt residents and staff were transported to Ireland. By the way, no airplane ticket was required and nobody felt jetlagged!!

Wow, this morning during our outdoors walk we found a GIANT TACO!! Our beautiful resident Christina P. is always in great mood and sharing a smile. Her great sense of humor is fantastic and so positively contagious. Have a GREAT TACO!! #granvidacares

What a blessing! Today Bobby turns 90th years old and he celebrating with a big smile. Thank you Bobby for all of the great smiles and moments that you always share with us!
