Hi everyone, just a quick note about visitation hours: Grand View grounds are open now 7 days a week 10am-4pm. The office is open Tuesday-Saturday. GrandViewMemorialPark.info is being redeveloped as the new official site for the cemetery. I will let you know when that goes live. Thanks! Lisa

Yes, the rumors are true: Grand View has been sold. Expect an OFFICIAL announcement from the new, licensed owners about plans for the cemetery to return to normal operations in a few weeks. :) Lisa, GV Volunteers

Hi Grand View Family! It has been confirmed that the cemetery will be open Sunday AND Monday this weekend for the Memorial Day weekend. More details here....

thank you, Gary Knab, for adding this remarkable photo of the funeral of little Emmet Clark Knab at Grand View's Babyland section in 1951 to Emmet's memorial page. it's amazing how many people did take photos at the cemetery during funerals or visits over the years and we are always most appreciative to see them because they reflect not only the history of Grand View but they also tell the story of families who entrusted their loved ones here. do you have snapshots of Grand View in days gone by or memories to share? let us know! ~ Grand View Volunteers <3

FYI, Sunday visitations have continued this year while everyone awaits news about Grand View's future. Gates will open on both Sunday AND Monday (May 26 & 27) for Memorial Day Weekend. Visitors and volunteers welcome!

news regarding money saving changes to burial and disinterment protocols at Grand View...and...yes, volunteers are still opening the gates on Sundays for visitation 12-4pm. it's HOT out there this weekend, please plan your visit accordingly and bring lots of drinking water to stay hydrated! :)
