There remain many barriers to healing including some touched upon in this article. Another solution maybe more baseline and disaggregate data how can you fight for a solution it others don't recognize it as problem? Or funding for research that will transform community- defined practices into evidence. Based practices that can get funding dollar...s. That already exist. Our communities can create and define the Solutions they so desperately need. Trauma at root of mental health ,issue a Ming Cambodia. 2- At the heart of Long Beach, California lies a well known but barely admitted Serect trauma and it's en during legacy . nearly 41 years after the in the 1975 Cambodia Genoside. The Khmer rough killed two million people. 3- In Long Beach , older Cambodian immigrants and by extension their families continue to grapple with the horrors of war, Communist "re education,ex cape by boam and refugee camps. At least halfway million refugee arrived in the USA in decades after the war's end. As a result, Post traumatic stress,disorder (PTSD) is widespread among the county's.
