Sacramento Century Challenge Results! The Goralka Law Firm completed the 100-mile challenge for the Sacramento Children's Home Crisis Nursery! You still have time to help! Day 1 We started late to accommodate a morning Rotary Zoom meeting for Joe. Shifting plans, Jimmy started at Beal’s Point, Folsom Lake riding to meet Joe and I at Discovery Park. With Jimmy as our tour guide, we rode as a Team back to Beal’s Point at Folsom Lake. We passed Lake Natoma along the way. We visi...ted with the speedy but friendly Team That’s How We Roll both days on the trail. We began the ride back as a Team, but Jimmy broke off and continued his ride to complete the entire 100-mile challenge on day 1! Awesome job, Jimmy. Joe and I returned to Discovery Park completing a 100k plus 3 miles (65 miles) the first day. Day 2 Jimmy was enjoying a well-earned breakfast as Joe and I started day 2 at Discovery Park. Planning to ride out 17.5 miles and return, Joe was struck with a case of unbridled testosterone and challenged another rider to a sprint. We went 18.5 miles as Joe just kept going. On the return, we stopped for mimosa’s at mile 90 for the 2-day challenge. A highly recommended training fuel. Concerned about a possible mimosa doping penalty, we added a few extra miles and completed our 2-day challenge with 103.5 miles. It is not too late to contribute!
