I do really like procreate but there are free versions as well like ibs paint which is one I’ve heard is pretty good, and the Apple Pencil is pretty ideal since it detects pressure does you can go from thick to thin like with henna! . I LOVE doing belly hennas for mamas! Many of these here were done at my booth as well hehe which is always quite interesting for the passerby’s The comments are always good though and everyone congratulates them! Just a little reminder I’m out here at seaport village until 7 pm today and again tomorrow 11:30-7 I don’t know if I will be coming out during the weekends anymore though, since due to the state closures it’s definitely effected the amount of people out and about, so I will be taking appointments from home again until things open back up. I’ve had a lot of the designs in my henna display books for years! This is one of them and I call it one of my classics Every year I go through my design books and retire some and will add new ones from the previous year that I’ve taken photos of. However some remain for years! I have a video on YouTube on how I make my design books, it pretty simple I use to use plastic sheet protectors but those get ruined so fast especially where I work it’s super windy! Just a quick time lapse of making a 1 KG batch of original blend henna Getting a head start for the weeks orders that will be going out Monday-Wednesday Will strain and begin coning them up in a few hours before dye release and then freezing them I keep it at a pretty chunky consistency in the beginning then use my stand mixer to thin out and make it to a super silky smooth consistency . Tell em why it feels like Christmas Day when a bride sends me stain photos?! haha it’s always so amazing! This was using my original blend henna cones, and coupled with good after care leads to some amazing results! I love how the mature henna stain goes SO well with the wedding lenghaaaa . I’ve had a lot of these photos in my phone archives for a few years now! The first one was before burning man when I lived in LA (for that really short period of time ) and the second, third, and fourth were from EID a couple years ago when I was in north park, and the following are some of my lovely repeat customers! Sometimes darker skin tones can be a bit under represented in o...ur henna feeds but as you can see from a couple of these photos, henna stains beautifully well on darker skin tones too! I always keep stain photos to show my clients and those who may walk up to my booth wondering if it will show, but with good aftercare henna looks just as great as on lighter skin tones! I do always like to have Jagua gel on hand too though since many of my clients regardless like the look for the Jagua as opposed to henna .
