Well today was my last day. I'm officially retired! Tomorrow the new owners of "THE ROCK GARDEN", Peter and Tawnya Statton will be ready to assist you in purchasing landscape plants and trees for your property. They are wonderful people and I have known and been neighbors and friends with them for years. They will keep the pricing and ordering very consistant with what I have had in the past. I have assisted them in making decisions for next January's bare root order and thin...k you will very pleased with the large selection of stock that will be arriving. They have LOTS of crape myrtles in several colors and the very best selection of shade trees around. Please do stop in, meet them and wish them well in their new business venture. I will be popping in to help if they need me from time to time so will be glad to chat and collect a few hugs with you! I thank you all so much for your support in these last 30 year's. Many of you have been with me through the beginning of my nursery and family and have helped me weather the storms that have come my way. I have made and formed so many valuable relationships with so very many people from not only our small community, but to many other states and two other continents. There are trees and plants that my hands have nurtured all over this world and by the grace of God many will still be here long after I'm gone. THAT gives me joy! Anyone interested in purchasing ALL of my nursery stock at below wholesale prices, I'm open to offers. Make sure you notice I capitalized the word ALL, which means I am not open to someone coming through and picking a few select items. This purchase would include all empty nursery containers as well. This would be a fantastic opportunity to someone who has dreamed of owning a nursery. I have had my nursery 30 years now and have loved it and the opportunity and time it allowed... me to spend with my family. My husband had a stroke and is bad health, my daughter was killed in an accident. I thank God for Mary and my son who help me as they can but my workload has become overwhelming for me and I am tired.
