Michael’s form was checked by video recently and this is a frame grab from our session. Overall his form is quite good- upright, running tall, and fairly relaxed. As you can see though, his foot is contacting the ground in front of his center of mass, making his stride less efficient. We talked over some strategies for addressing that, and he’s practicing now. Vanessa has been with Good Fit Coaching for a few years now, and in this interview shares her beginnings as a runner as well as some thoughts on motivation.

In a bit of spectacular timing, I passed my NASM CPT exam on Friday the 13th. I'm now a certified personal trainer and plan to work out of Studio Fitness in Santa Rosa. Once this mess passes I hope you'll consider me for balance, core and strength conditioning, as well as distance running coaching!

Vanessa went into her 2019 CIM with trepidation and more than a little anxiety. With some cheering from her fans (and her coach) she got to the start line determined to do her best. After rescheduling multiple times due to the weather, Julia and Coach Patrick were finally able to get together. Waiting for a flight with my Mudroom pack, the only piece of luggage I took on a three day trip.
